1. Field of the Invention
The invention relates to an electric connection box mounted to an engine-driven equipment such as a vehicle and to a casing provided in the electric connection box.
2. Description of the Related Art
FIG. 6 is a diagram schematically showing a conventional electric connection box. The electric connection box shown in FIG. 6 is used in a vehicle such as a tractor (hereinafter referred to simply as a tractor). In the figure, a reference numeral 1 denotes a casing provided at a central part of the tractor. An engine (not shown) of the tractor is installed in the casing 1. A steering wheel 2 is mounted on the right side of the casing 1. A console 3 is mounted on the right side of the steering wheel 2. A display 4 is mounted in the console 3. A control unit 5 is disposed on the left side of the steering wheel 2. A connector 6 is connected to a connector 6a provided on the rear face of the casing 1.
The casing 1 is connected to a battery of the tractor via the connector 6.
An electric line is extended from the control unit 5 to the connector 6. The control unit 5 is mounted on a printed circuit board (not shown) and includes various control switches. The control unit 5 receives a control signal from the driver's operation of the steering wheel 2 and controls the fuel injection, the ignition, and the like of the engine of the tractor according to the received control signal.
The casing 1 includes a front face plate 7 and a rear face plate 8. A pair of male/female connectors 9 is provided in the casing 1. The connectors 9 are connected to the connector 6.
